Heimerdinger
It is a fact that Heimerdinger is often used in compositions referred to as “wealthy” where the pieces all have high purchase costs, and their strength does not come from traits or origins. Moreover, the effects of the Dragon Tribe or Rejuvenation do not provide Heimerdinger with any skill damage stats. Therefore, the massive damage output that this unit possesses comes entirely from its abilities. Even when unable to activate the Rejuvenation effect, the combination of Guinsoo’s Rageblade and Spear of Shojin will still solve the mana problem.

Despite being so powerful, Heimerdinger is not an easy unit to use in Teamfight Tactics. Unlike compositions that rely on large trait origins, playing around Heimerdinger requires players to “pivot” flexibly towards the end of the game. The advice is to choose a frontline that can withstand and survive well, such as the God units, to buy enough time for Heimerdinger to regain energy and unleash its abilities to take down opponents.
Kayle
From the moment she was introduced in Season 5, we understood that Kayle is an incredibly powerful independent damage dealer who does not require trait effects. Kayle’s skill can be said to provide this champion with everything from area damage to damage immunity effects. All that Kayle requires from your composition is to ensure that this unit survives long enough to reach her ultimate Ascension state.

Therefore, the most popular composition revolving around Kayle combines her with 6 Knights to maximize the durability of champions as much as possible. This playstyle was even indirectly nerfed by Riot in Season 5.5 when they removed Taric. Nevertheless, the Kayle-Knight composition remains extremely strong at the current time thanks to Riot Games buffing health and base attack speed for this unit in the recent 11.17 patch.
Kalista
In reality, Kalista’s origin and trait do not help this unit deal much additional damage. The greatest strength of the Undead trait is summoning a unit that is both “tanky” and has significant damage, rather than enhancing the strength of other units. Additionally, the Legion system, despite being revamped, still appears relatively weak and is rarely used at higher levels. However, Kalista remains one of the units capable of dealing good damage thanks to her incredibly strong ability for just 1 gold.

Even at 2-star level, Kalista can deal 600 plus 200% of her own AD to the first enemy champion hit. Moreover, if that target is defeated, the spear continues to deal overflow damage to the next target. In summary, Kalista can easily “one shot” a low-health unit and deal additional damage to another piece early in the game. This makes Kalista a perfect early-game carry for players, no matter what composition you plan to use.
