With a relatively stable performance in launching “wallet-burning” products, Riot Games has officially unveiled a new series of skins to celebrate the Halloween 2021 event – The 2021 Witch Skins.
The new members joining the witch squad to conquer Halloween include: Syndra, Fiora, Nami, Yuumi, Poppy, along with an Elite skin for Witch Morgana, according to Riot Games’ previously announced roadmap for Elite skin releases in 2021.
Among the newly launched skins, Yuumi and Poppy are currently the two names that have garnered the most affection from the League of Legends community. Many opinions suggest that the game is becoming “saturated” with human-like skins and champions, so the appearance of a “boss” and a Yordle will likely become a special highlight for the upcoming skin lineup.
Not long ago, Riot Games shared some issues surrounding the release of new skins in League of Legends. They emphasized that launching skins for human-like champions is always a top priority, just like launching new champions. The simple reason is that they are easier to design and are more favored by players.
However, Yuumi is an exception. Although she is an “animal” champion, this little character has already received 4 skins (including the upcoming Halloween skin) after just 2 years in the Summoner’s Rift.
This number is insignificant compared to champions like Kai’Sa, Ezreal, Lux, or Miss Fortune. But compared to other animal or monster champions, it’s clear that “The Cat” is being given much more attention. This is understandable, as despite being an animal, Yuumi has an incredibly cute design, resembling an adorable pet that’s simply irresistible.

As is customary every year, the Witch – Halloween 2021 skins are expected to be released in mid-October, and it’s likely that the Elite Witch Morgana skin will be available for purchase in the Elite shop or during the 2021 World Championship event.
