Udyr
Perhaps Udyr is the champion with the worst tribe – system in Teamfight Tactics, as the Dragon Tribe does not provide any stats, while the Warrior Tribe is too weak. According to statistical data from players ranked from Master to Challenger on the North American server, a 3-star Udyr can lower the average position that players achieve by nearly 1.25 points. This shows that rolling for a 3-star Udyr is essentially a “self-destruct” move, even for high-level players.

A major disadvantage of Udyr is that the skill this unit possesses does not provide significant damage output continuously. Essentially, the damage that Udyr deals is mainly in Tiger Stance, and opponents have the chance to counterattack and take down this unit when Udyr just switches to Turtle Stance. Not to mention that Udyr is a melee unit without good defensive effects, making it heavily countered by the current meta revolving around ranged carries.

Olaf
Essentially, Olaf carries all the weaknesses that Udyr has, so it’s not surprising that this unit proves to be extremely weak. Olaf is indeed very strong in the early game, but as the match progresses towards the late game, the healing ability of this unit becomes increasingly easy to counter. Moreover, a 3-star Olaf has a critical weakness that prevents the strongest carry of the Guardian team from maximizing its power, causing players to sometimes lose frustratingly.

When deciding to roll a unit to 3 stars, players usually try to push that unit to become the carry with the best items. In the case of Olaf and the Guardian team, this causes the 1-cost champion to always receive a shield to increase attack speed at the beginning of the round. However, in the late game, Lucian is the most important unit, and lacking the shield along with the high attack speed early on results in this unit lacking damage. Therefore, the advice is not to roll for a 3-star Olaf at this time.
Sett
It’s not an exaggeration to say that Sett has one of the most “tragic” fates in Teamfight Tactics season 5. After rising in a few patches with the “one punch kill” playstyle, Sett has continuously been nerfed in damage output from his skills. By the time he could no longer become a carry, Sett revealed other weaknesses, such as not contributing much to his team composition and having terrible tanking ability in the late game.

For these reasons, even leveling Sett to 3 stars doesn’t make him a strong unit capable of taking on the responsibility of dealing damage or tanking for the team. Even if you are a fan of the Dragon Tribe, you should not push this unit to 3 stars but rather sell Sett for gold and pivot to better tank units in the late game.
