In the upcoming patch 11.21, Riot Games has decided to upgrade the visual effects of Syndra’s skills as well as her current skins. Specifically, according to a member of the League of Legends effects design team – RiotSirhaian, all of Syndra’s abilities will feature a new display that is a bit more “dark”. For each of Syndra’s skins, the display area will also differ.
Syndra’s Justice and Snow Day skins will receive the most upgrades compared to the other skins. With the Justice skin, the most notable change is that the spheres will be displayed more clearly, no longer appearing “hazy” as before.
Next, in the Snow Day Syndra skin, Riot has removed the snowflake display when the character casts abilities. Instead, a frost area will be created momentarily when Snow Day Syndra uses her skills.
According to RiotSirhaian, Syndra is the next champion in the plan to upgrade skill visuals to align with modern League of Legends. These changes from Riot Games promise to better reflect the title of the Dark Sovereign that this character possesses.
