Devil – Gunner
With Tristana’s jump mechanics adjusted in the previous patch, the Devil – Gunner composition has significantly improved over the past few weeks. When Riot introduced the Light Equipment selection round in 5-1 of Teamfight Tactics, this composition became even stronger with numerous powerful carries to leverage that strength. With the addition of Lucian and Miss Fortune, you can choose any offensive-oriented Light item, and the damage output will increase dramatically.
Moreover, even if you don’t get offensive Light Equipment, the remaining units in the composition can still effectively use defensive and versatile items. For Kennen, items like Ice Heart, Guardian Angel, and Morello’s Evil Tome in the Light version are excellent choices. If you opt for tank items, Poppy can still utilize them effectively. Even when you choose aura items, Lulu is an outstanding choice to use them.
Revenant – Warrior
Although the operation of the compositions differs significantly, both the Revenant – Warrior and Devil – Gunner compositions share the common feature of having a roster of champions that can effectively use many Light Equipment. Specifically for the Revenant – Warrior team, this composition can create significant impact in the late game with heavy hitters like Jax and Draven. If both of these units are equipped with powerful Light Equipment, players can certainly think about achieving the final victory.
Furthermore, the inclusion of Viego will provide the Revenant – Warrior team with various excellent countermeasures against opponents. Just the skill Supreme Domination from Viego is enough to force opponents to reposition their carries to avoid having their damage source neutralized. Additionally, Viego can be placed very flexibly on the battlefield, helping you maximize the power of items like Cloak of the Ascended and Blessed Blade.
Kayle – Knight
If you notice, having an additional Light Equipment makes it relatively difficult to quickly eliminate the opposing team within a few seconds in the late game. The presence of tank champions who now have shields, armor, magic resistance, and health from items like Targon’s Ascended Chain, Warmog’s Glory, or Guardian Stone Armor leads to this situation. Therefore, compositions capable of sustaining a long fight appear to be much stronger in patch 11.20.
And a typical name for this playstyle is Kayle – Knight, as this angelic character can deal massive damage to eliminate opponents as long as she survives. Furthermore, having an opportunity to acquire Light Equipment that focuses on protection and buffs Kayle’s attack speed makes this composition even harder to defeat. Perhaps the Kayle – Knight team in the current meta only genuinely fears compositions that can snowball early or Assassin players.
