It seems that everyone in the League of Legends community knows that Faker is one of the most famous players living frugally but with a heart of gold. Specifically, despite having one of the highest salaries, even compared to traditional sports athletes, holding a share of T1 and numerous income sources from advertisements and skin sales, Faker is incredibly frugal. He hardly ever changes his phone, and luxury cars are out of the question. However, in return, Faker is very generous in charitable work, earning everyone’s respect.

Recently, Faker reached the milestone of 1000 professional matches in his illustrious career. This is a very special milestone as, to date, only Deft—Faker’s contemporary—has achieved this milestone alongside him in the global League of Legends scene. Therefore, to commemorate this special occasion in his career, Faker decided to “go big”: He treated everyone present at LoL Park to fried chicken on the match day of February 18, including LCK reporters and fans. All they had to do was show their ticket at the BBQ shop in LoL Park to receive their meal.

This act also showcases Faker’s appreciation towards his fans—those who have always been by his side throughout the ups and downs of his magnificent career. Moreover, regardless of whether they are T1 or KT Rolster fans, anyone who came to LoL Park and watched the match on February 18 could receive a free meal.

With everything he has shown both on and off the battlefield, Faker continues to prove himself as a truly great player with a noble character, deserving to be a role model for all young players today. With the support of his fans, along with the efforts of himself and his teammates, it is certain that Faker will realize his long-held dream: to lift the championship trophy of Worlds for the fourth time in his career.
