After a long wait, Riot has finally released TFT season 6.5 – a version that is considered even more exciting than season 6, featuring a series of changes, from units to traits, as well as Augments and items. Among these, we can highlight some champions that have been “teased” as super strong, such as Renata Glasc (Scholar – Chemtech) or Silco (Boss – Scholar) or Vi, who has been upgraded to 4 gold with a skill set that offers both damage and durability while also providing strong crowd control.

But of course, as a “tradition” of Riot, every time there are major updates, numerous serious bugs immediately surface, causing the TFT community to “cry out”. Recently, players discovered a bug that allows the Elegant trait to “shut down” itself, removing all trait bonuses from all units, whether they are original Elegant units or those with trait emblems.
According to the clip, it can be seen that at the threshold of 8 Elegant units, the trait bonuses are still intact for all 8 units of the Elegant trait, including 5 Elegant units (excluding Zeri) and 3 units with trait emblems. However, as soon as the player introduces Zeri into the game, the bonuses immediately disappear.

Briefly about the Elegant trait, players can imagine it as a variant of the Blademaster mechanism from seasons 4 and 4.5. Sometimes, in the shop, Elegant units will appear with a VIP mechanism that boosts the power of these units. If players want to change a unit with a VIP mechanism, they must sell that unit and roll for another Elegant unit that fits their strategic intention.

It remains unclear whether this is a bug or a hidden mechanism preventing players from overusing the Elegant trait, but it is certainly causing frustration among TFT players. It is important to note that activating traits is generally not limited by quantity. Players can have a number of champions exceeding the maximum threshold of any trait, as long as they are used effectively. In the near future, Riot may need to implement urgent fixes to avoid impacting the player experience in the current TFT season 6.5.
