Gang
To put it bluntly, in the upcoming patch 12.5, Gang is the composition that will receive a comprehensive power upgrade in terms of defense, offense, and versatility. Even the buff to the Guardian system, which enhances the initial shield amount, makes Darius extremely hard to take down in the early game. This sets a perfect foundation for players to build a Gang team, allowing them to retain a lot of health and gold to reroll for necessary champions in the later stages.

Not stopping there, key champions of this faction such as Ashe, Ahri, Morgana, and Braum have all received remarkable buffs. For example, Ashe will always fire 8 arrows when casting her spell, and she gains an additional range, while Ahri receives an extra 30 starting mana, a massive buff for this unit. All these changes mean that the Gang composition will be much stronger whether you play a reroll Ashe style or level up to 8 and choose Ahri as your carry.
Elegant
Essentially, Elegant is not theoretically a weak race in Teamfight Tactics, but in practice, it faces quite a few operational issues. First, it relies heavily on VIP champions to serve as carries, whether you play Talon, Brand, or Draven. Of course, there are current tips to identify desired VIP champions, but to do this, you must find another VIP champion, which is inherently quite “luck-based.”

This issue also causes the Elegant composition to struggle significantly in trying to survive and maintain health before acquiring the desired VIP champion. Therefore, in the upcoming patch 12.5, the two main champions, Brand and Draven, will receive substantial increases in their basic stats such as ability damage and attack range… For Draven specifically, having 25% armor penetration readily available in the new patch and an increased attack range of 4 tiles will significantly strengthen this champion without relying too much on VIP effects.
Yordles
Even with the addition of powerful new champions like Corki and Gnar, the Yordles composition still faces the inherent weakness of being very weak before the carry reaches 3 stars. The need to sacrifice other tribes – power-enhancing systems to gain more Yordles after each round has led to this situation. Additionally, the Yordles champions are not strong enough to withstand fights or deal effective damage at the 2-star mark, which poses quite a bit of difficulty for this team composition.

Therefore, in the upcoming patch 12.5, Riot will buff the two key units of the current Yordles composition, Corki and Lulu. These units play a crucial role in damage dealing and support within the Yordles composition, so this team comp will become significantly stronger. With the damage from Corki’s missiles being increased, the build of Blue Buff – Guardian Angel – Infinity Edge will be very powerful on this champion. Hopefully, the Yordles composition will have a more solid standing after this buff from Riot.
