Gumayusi Deserves the Title of “Mr. Perfect” at Worlds 2025
A few days ago, a statistic on the players with the most “perfect KDA” throughout various World Championships was revealed, leaving the League of Legends community in awe. For those who don’t know, “perfect KDA” refers to matches where the players did not die at all while achieving a high number of kills or assists. Among these players, Faker has the most “perfect KDA” matches. However, the one who is even more perfect than Faker is Gumayusi.

Accordingly, Gumayusi is only one “perfect KDA” match behind Faker, but the number of matches at Worlds he has experienced, counting only from the Main Event, is just about half compared to his older teammate in T1. Gumayusi’s rate of achieving “perfect KDA” stands at 41% – the highest among all the players surveyed.
Notably, Gumayusi’s position as the AD Carry is one of the most targeted roles. Especially since this player is often seen as having weaknesses due to not being able to use three quite mobile champions: Ezreal, Kai’Sa, and Zeri. In many matches, even his teammates have struggled to cover for Gumayusi, even when T1 held the advantage.

The Success of T1 at Worlds 2025 Depends Heavily on Gumayusi – Keria
With the meta being strongly buffed for many AD Carry champions, combined with the fact that top lane carries are no longer as useful, the role of Gumayusi – Keria is becoming increasingly important. This duo is also known for their high volatility and strong laning capabilities for T1. If both reach their peak performance on a given day, T1 could completely dominate any opponent, including formidable names like Gen.G, BLG, or HLE.

However, as everyone is aware of T1’s power, it is almost certain that Gumayusi will also be the most focused position. At these moments, his positioning ability, as demonstrated in the matches with “perfect KDA,” needs to be maximized to secure victories for T1 and along with that, the championship title at Worlds.
