Faker and his T1 teammates are currently enjoying their happiest days. Not only are they strong contenders for the LCK Spring 2022 championship, but T1 is also the “undefeated champion” of the entire League of Legends scene. T1’s record of 18 wins – 0 losses is “unprecedented” and it will be almost impossible for another team to achieve such a feat.

Not only do they have a perfect group stage, but the T1 members have also achieved numerous records and recognitions. Keria was voted by players, coaches, and experts as the best player of the LCK Spring 2022 group stage, alongside the MVP of the group stage, Canyon. Faker has broken numerous records throughout this time, while players like Gumayusi, Oner, and Zeus have also received a lot of praise. 4 out of 5 members of T1 also made it into the first all-star lineup of the LCK Spring 2022 group stage.

In a recent interview with reporter Ashley Kang, Faker and Coach Polt shared insights about T1’s remarkable journey in this year’s LCK Spring. During the interview, the “Demon King” openly admitted: “For me, the toughest match was the one against DWG KIA in the first round. In that match, T1 nearly lost. The match against Fredit BRION in the first round was also tough. That was when we felt we were close to defeat. I think we could win only because we performed better in the mid and late game.”
Coach Polt also agreed with Faker’s opinion, stating that the match against BRO featuring “Mr. Morgan” was the most memorable match for him. According to Coach Polt, the victory over BRO helped T1 open the door to a super record. He is also very confident about T1’s upcoming journey: “We cannot know how our opponents will perform, but T1 certainly aims for the championship and to win all playoff matches.”

In the first round, both DK and BRO had their strongest roster and posed many challenges for Faker and his teammates. However, in these matches, T1’s champion spirit was showcased, and their victories were very convincing. Now, T1 is aiming for super records, and it will be very difficult to stop Faker and his teammates at this moment.
