On the evening of May 24 (Vietnam time), Riot released a series of skins specifically for Summer 2022. Specifically, this is a special line of skins that are only launched during the summer each year and are usually characterized by a fresh, colorful style. In the past, the Pool Party skin line was very popular among gamers. This is because not only can they be purchased in the Shop, but this skin group also brings incredibly attractive and cheerful designs of champions in League of Legends.

This time, the new skin group will be called Beach Party and will focus mostly on new names, champions that have not appeared in the previous Pool Party skin group. The list this time will include: Yone, Nidalee, Seraphine, Zeri, and Ashe. Among these, only Zeri and Nidalee have been around since the early days of League of Legends. Meanwhile, Seraphine – although she was once considered a potential rival to Riot’s “darlings” like Lux or Ezreal, with this Beach Party skin, she only has 3 skins (not counting her default skin).

However, alongside the newly released skins, the abilities of the new champion Bel’Veth were also revealed by Riot, attracting more attention from the League of Legends community. According to this, Bel’Veth’s ability set will include crowd control (slowing, knocking up), healing, and stacking attack speed. Additionally, Bel’Veth’s abilities will interact very well with Baron and the Herald. According to the description, when Bel’Veth defeats an enemy, including the Herald and Baron, it will leave behind Corals. When using these Corals, Bel’Veth will transform into her true form. If the Corals are from the Herald or Baron, the True Form will last longer.
When in True Form, Bel’Veth will increase her attack range, attack speed, and her Q ability will be able to dash through terrain. It can be said that Bel’Veth is a champion that encompasses all the strengths a League of Legends champion needs to have.
Witnessing the overwhelming power of the new champion, the League of Legends community has been divided into various debates. Most opinions agree that the new champion’s abilities are quite strong and that she is a champion well-suited for late game. However, many believe that Riot may have focused too much on her abilities, resulting in her animations being somewhat aesthetically lacking.

Currently, the skin group and new champion have appeared on the PBE server. According to information from Riot, everything will officially launch to the League of Legends community in update 12.11.
