As we know, a few weeks ago, Riot Games introduced a new champion for League of Legends named Bel’Veth. This is the jungle champion from the Void that Riot mentioned in a post about the Champion Development Roadmap. In this same post, we were also introduced to a new champion designed for the ADC position, but in a very unique way. According to some leaked information, this champion will be the first melee ADC designed by Riot.

Recently, part of this new champion’s skill set and design has been further revealed. In terms of skills, the character’s Q ability will have 3 activations with a mechanism quite similar to Aatrox’s Darkin Blade. The first activation will deal damage in a straight line, the second will create a cone in front, and the third activation will damage around itself. It sounds quite similar to a combination of Aatrox’s Q, Samira’s melee Q, and Hecarim’s Q.
In terms of design, it is surprising that this character will use a whip or something similar as a weapon. According to leaked information from some Chinese forums, Riot has “reused” one of the old designs for Akali’s character and weapon for this new champion. Another piece of information from dataminer Big Bad Bear indicates that this champion will use a type of “water magic” and has been teased in a card from the game Legends of Runeterra.

From the information above, we can guess that this new champion will have relatively strong fighting abilities at low levels with 3 activations of the Q skill. Additionally, the new melee ADC must have some skill or effect that connects with allies to perform well in the Bottom Lane. Perhaps that is the “water magic” we were informed about earlier. This champion is revealed to have a 2022 Battlecast skin, so players may not get detailed information about this character until patch 12.14.
