Not long ago, a member of the League of Legends champion design team – Riot RayYonggi – revealed to players the latest rework of Sivir. The goal of Riot Games is essentially to refresh Sivir’s gameplay and address the issues that have left her “forgotten” in both solo queue and professional play. Here are the details of the changes:

Passive – Fleet Footwork
The movement speed increase will now gradually decrease over 2 seconds instead of disappearing completely. The movement speed bonus has been buffed from 45-60 to 55-70.
Q – Boomerang Blade
Base damage has changed from 35-95 to 15-115.
Interaction ratio with AD has decreased from 70-130% to 70% at all levels.
Cooldown increased from 7 seconds to 12-10 seconds. Ability cast time changed from 0.25 to 0.25-0 seconds (based on attack speed).
Damage will increase based on critical strike chance, up to 100% additional damage from the ability.
Energy cost decreased from 70-110 to 55-75.
The flight speed of the boomerang blade has changed from 1350 (both outgoing and returning) to 1450 on the way out and 1200 on the way back.

W – Ricochet
Buff duration has changed from 3 hits to 4 seconds.
The new passive increases attack speed by 20-40%.
The number of ricochets is now limited to 7 hits.
Ricochet hits can now bounce back to targets that were initially hit.
Interaction ratio with AD decreased from 30-90% to 30%.
Bounce range increased from 450 to 500 units.
Energy cost reduced from 75 to 75-55.
E – Spell Shield
Removes the energy restoration ability.
Now heals Sivir for 60-80% AD + 50% AP.
Activates passive when blocking an enemy spell.
Energy cost increased from 0 to 40.
Cooldown increased from 22-10 to 22-14 seconds.
R – On the Hunt
Duration increased from 8 to 8-12 seconds.
The movement speed buff will refresh its duration if you participate in taking down an enemy.
Basic attacks reduce the cooldown of Sivir’s normal abilities by 0.5 seconds after using the ultimate.

Looking at the above changes to Sivir, it is clear that this champion will not be completely transformed, as her core abilities remain intact. However, Sivir’s power will be significantly improved as her abilities now interact with stats like attack speed, making her much more dangerous in the late game. Additionally, participating in takedowns will allow Sivir to create a strong snowball effect, as the buff from her ultimate will last longer.

This rework of Sivir is expected to be in the hands of players in version 12.13, which will be released in about 3 weeks.
