Perhaps everyone knows that the LPL tournament is one of the most strictly regulated League of Legends (LoL) events. In fact, a player who engages in any inappropriate behavior before, during, or after a match could be penalized, regardless of whether they are a legendary figure. A notable example was in Spring 2022 when Uzi was fined just for wearing flip-flops to a match.

However, if the audience still cannot grasp the absurdity of the penalties imposed by the tournament organizers on players, Doinb has once again spoken out. Specifically, according to the mid-laner from LNG Esports, LPL players who stream and play any game other than League of Legends will face severe penalties.
“Professional players cannot play any other games, even during the off-season. I’ve mentioned this many times. We cannot play any other games while still competing professionally. That is not allowed,” Doinb shared during a stream.

This can be seen as yet another bizarre rule from the organizers of the highest-level League of Legends tournament in China. For players, streaming games or interacting with fans is one of the few occasions they can relax and unwind. For instance, BeryL and Faker often play other games. BeryL explained that constantly revolving around LoL puts pressure on him and affects his performance.

However, Doinb revealed that players will face heavy fines if the organizers catch them playing other games while streaming. As a result, according to Doinb, LPL players do not often stream, or if they do, they tend to log off quite early.
This has sparked a buzz among fans, who even believe that these rules are overly restrictive. However, rules are rules, and players will likely have to comply.
