As we know, in the upcoming patch 12.13, Riot Games will launch the Star Guardian 2022 skin line along with some major events. In fact, according to previously leaked information, this event will last for 2 patches with over 10 skins for many characters. This is expected to be the biggest event of 2022 for League of Legends.

Although the Star Guardian event has not officially launched, news about Riot Games’ next skin line has continued to leak. Specifically, a reputable source named Big Bad Bear recently revealed that the next skin line for League of Legends will be “Pokémon Trainer.” Based on the first leaked images (including Ezreal and Janna), it is clear that this skin line is directly inspired by the famous Pokémon game series.

Following the “Pokémon Trainer” line, Big Bad Bear also disclosed that Riot Games will introduce a brand new skin line called “Neon Inferno.” Additionally, Riot will release more skins themed around the upcoming Worlds 2022. After that, we will have familiar skins for Worlds (Champion skins, music-themed skins), although it is still unclear which characters will have them.

The gaming community seems quite excited about the “Pokémon Trainer” skin line. The reason is that many champions fit this theme and could create high-quality skins, for example, Kled. Regarding the Neon Inferno theme, some gamers believe that this is merely a “rehashed” version of the Nightmare City skin line.
