Riot Announces a “Huge” Achievement by League of Legends Teams, T1 Missing
As the most successful team in the history of professional League of Legends, T1 does not always appear in the records of professional LoL when looking at smaller categories. In fact, there are many instances where their previous milestones have been surpassed by later generations. Recently, when Riot announced the statistics of teams with the longest undefeated game streak in League of Legends history, T1 was absent.

Specifically, this list features many familiar names that have left a strong impression on the global League of Legends community, not just in their competing regions. Notably, among those names are current powerhouses like Gen.G (21 consecutive undefeated games) and G2 (24 consecutive undefeated games).

However, one name stands out, that is the case of Chiefs Esports Club – the team with the longest consecutive undefeated games in the history of professional League of Legends (to date) with 26 wins. However, at this point, CEC is just a thing of the past. In the recent Mid-Season LCP, they did not win a single match and quickly ended up at the bottom of the standings after about 3 weeks of play. Notably, they even lost to DFM – a representative from the LJL and considered the weakest League of Legends region in the APAC.
And even though T1 set the record for the longest undefeated streak in League of Legends history (until Gen.G matched and surpassed it), they are not on this list. The simple reason is that while T1 won many matches, their opponents still managed to secure at least one win.

Records are good, but overall achievements are still the most important, and thus T1 remains “unmatched”
In reality, among these teams, there are those who have achieved undefeated streaks and then continued to dominate in their domestic leagues, but later failed at international competitions. Ultimately, overall achievements are what matter most. Therefore, even though T1 is not on this list, they still remain “unmatched” in this regard in the professional League of Legends scene.
