In the 2025 season, Gen.G was not empty-handed, to say the least, as they achieved three consecutive titles, including MSI, EWC, and LCK 2025. However, for Chovy and perhaps any Gen.G fan, the team’s exit from Worlds 2025 after the semifinals is hard to accept. The Gen.G roster has never been as perfect as it was this year, yet once again, they ended up empty-handed at the highly anticipated tournament. According to some sources, Duro may be the player leaving the team.
At the beginning of the season, Duro’s joining Gen.G raised many doubts. But after everything, he truly became the piece that Gen.G desperately needed. Therefore, after hearing that Gen.G might part ways with Duro, many fans of the team felt upset. In fact, many were vehemently opposed, as Duro is a player who puts in a lot of effort even in Gen.G’s losses against KT.
