When it comes to Faker, there have truly been countless articles written about the mid-lane captain of T1. He is always viewed as an immortal icon of the League of Legends (LoL) scene, and this is undeniable. In fact, Faker might be the only player in the entire LoL community that fans from any region idolize as number one, surpassing even local players. Even a region like the LPL has to admit that LPL legends like Uzi or TheShy still fall short of Faker.

However, there is one very distinct feature about Faker: his life revolves solely around LoL and professional matches. As Faker himself shares, the remaining time is spent on activities such as reading, researching LoL updates, and sometimes playing a few other games for entertainment, along with doing commercials for T1… He even hires a private tutor to teach him piano instead of getting caught up in the usual parties and gatherings of players. In short, Faker is as professional and strict in his daily life as he is in his career.

Therefore, many LoL fans have given Faker an additional nickname: “the nerd of the LoL community.” According to their reasoning, this fits Faker perfectly, as his life revolves only around his profession, and even now, Faker remains “happily single.” Meanwhile, many of his seniors and juniors have either had or are currently in relationships. Notably, Faker also actively avoids such relationships to not affect his career.

Faker’s professionalism is beyond question, but clearly, sometimes fans hope he will find new joys outside of LoL. After all, Faker is still just a young man, and having life experiences would be entirely suitable. Not to mention, with Faker’s professional spirit, he surely knows how to ensure that outside matters do not affect him. However, it seems that the audience will have to wait until Faker retires to see him invest interest in other issues.
