As known, during the recent weekend match of VCS Hoàng Hôn 2023, Team Secret was defeated by GAM Esports. Although “An Mat Giao” put in a tremendous effort, even making GAM fans sweat, the ultimate victory still belonged to the reigning VCS champions. This achievement helped GAM secure a spot in the VCS Hoàng Hôn 2023 finals and, more importantly, the first representative spot for VCS at the World Championship.
However, the losing team unexpectedly came under scrutiny from the VCS community. Specifically, the TS players, particularly Hasmed, were suspected of negative behavior. This suspicion arose from many of the TS players’ actions during the match, which were quite puzzling. They engaged in disjointed team fights in the middle of the game, and even at the start of the game, Hasmed provoked the opponents by standing near GAM’s turret, only to be easily taken down by Levi afterward. Moreover, the recent incident with SBTC Esports has forced the Vietnamese LoL community to adopt a more scrutinizing and suspicious perspective whenever matches occur.
However, in response to the audience’s rumors, it was not Hasmed but rather Mẫn Gia – his partner – who spoke out firmly. The beautiful girl immediately defended her boyfriend. Although her words were somewhat harsh, they were indeed reasonable upon reflection. Accusing someone of negative behavior not only undermines that person’s efforts but also affects the winning team in this context (GAM). Furthermore, attributing blame to anyone without evidence can lead to unpredictable consequences, impacting the reputation and dignity of that individual as well as the entire team.
The post by Hasmed’s partner received a lot of support from the VCS audience. Many opinions suggested that some people were not genuinely concerned about the integrity of VCS but simply “liked to criticize.”
As for Hasmed, he has not yet commented on the incident. He and TS still have a good chance of participating in the 2023 World Championship as they have one more opportunity ahead and have shown that TS is truly strong at this moment, even without Artifact.
