T1 wins, but another name is being “called out” by the League of Legends community
Recently, T1 defeated BLG to continue their journey in the winners’ bracket of MSI 2025. While T1 had a chance of victory, the 3-0 scoreline still surprised many. Amidst the buzz in the League of Legends community about T1’s strong performance lately, an unexpected name has been “called out” for supposedly “activating” T1’s destructive passive. None other than the team KT Rolster.
Accordingly, some opinions state: “Since the victory against KT, T1 seems to have unlocked all attributes. Doran was also solo-killed by the Rock Man in that match, and now he’s been MVP for three consecutive games. T1 has had the ‘KT buff’ for two to three seasons now, and they have performed very well afterwards.”
In fact, the viewers’ observations have a basis. From 2023 until now, after T1 faced KT in the LCK playoffs, they have shown a completely different face in the remaining matches of the season, regardless of whether it’s the World Championship stage. In the Summer 2023, KT chose T1 and were subsequently eliminated, while T1 became the LCK runner-up and the World Championship champion. In 2024, T1 eliminated KT to secure the final spot for the World Championship, and the rest is history.
If T1 can win MSI 2025, KT will be mentioned even more
Of course, besides the factors of timing and location, the T1 players themselves had to perform at a high level to help their team win titles. Not to mention that their opponents also made mistakes, and this has nothing to do with KT.
Currently, T1 is just two matches away from winning the MSI 2025 championship.
