As you may know, on September 11 (Vietnam time), SofM and his teammates from the Vietnamese League of Legends (LoL) team will participate in a friendly match against the South Korean LoL team. This is the first match for the lineups of both teams ahead of the ASIAD in Hangzhou. Although it is just a friendly match, this game will give the audience a glimpse of the strength and synergy among the players from both teams.

However, it seems that SofM himself does not want his team to feel too much psychological pressure. Moreover, since it is just a friendly match, SofM is not overly stressed. Evidence of this is that just before the whole team had to travel to South Korea for the friendly match, the “King of Games” still managed to register for the solo format of the Naraka Worlds Championship Sea Qualifier under the nickname 不容易[AS]. In fact, he even “casually” secured the 2nd spot in Group D while also taking the lead overall after the first week of this tournament.

Notably, not long ago, SofM also achieved a very high ranking at the Naraka: Bladepoint Asian Challenge 2023. This coincided with the period when the Vietnamese team could not participate in the Road to Asian Games 2022. SofM’s ability to remain relaxed can be understood as the Vietnamese LoL team being well-prepared even before they traveled to South Korea for the friendly match.

As for SofM, Naraka: Bladepoint is a game that he loves very much. In fact, SofM has even been honored by this game, and a character in the game was even inspired by the design of the “Forest God” from Vietnam as a tribute from the developers to SofM.

The upcoming ASIAD in Hangzhou will be SofM’s first attempt in a new role, representing the national LoL scene. Surely, SofM will always maintain the highest focus on the upcoming ASIAD goal while also laying the groundwork for the future if the former Weibo Gaming star decides to fully transition into coaching.
