Recently, on his stream channel, Dia1 made comments that surprised VCS viewers. Specifically, the former star of SBTC Esports admitted to being involved in negativity but stated that it did not fall within the violations announced by VCS and Riot. However, what shocked even more was when Dia1 revealed that he holds many secrets about VCS and that revealing them could lead to the tournament being “destroyed.” Additionally, Dia1 hinted at drama involving a coach (whom Dia1 asserted is Coach Ren) and mentioned that this coach is also involved in negativity.
Immediately, Coach Ren fiercely responded in a post addressing the content of Dia1’s livestream. The former coach of SBTC Esports passionately swore and emphatically asserted his innocence. Dia1’s revelations and Coach Ren’s assertions have stirred up the VCS audience significantly. It’s important to note that not long ago, Coach Ren claimed to hold substantial evidence regarding the negativity of players in VCS.
Coach Ren’s statement has garnered support from many VCS viewers. The accusations and implications from Dia1 ultimately boil down to mere words, lacking concrete evidence. If these claims are not true, they would significantly tarnish Coach Ren’s reputation. The former SE coach may not always be well-liked by the Vietnamese LoL fans, but accusations of negativity are extremely serious. Not to mention, Dia1 himself is involved in negativity, which diminishes the weight of his words.
Additionally, many viewers criticized the “gossipers” in the LoL community for frequently throwing “false punches” without any concrete evidence or specific information. In the past, there have been numerous individuals claiming to hold substantial evidence of VCS’s negativity and threatening to reveal it, but so far, all that has remained are mere assertions.
Since Riot officially took over VCS, the SE incident can be considered the most serious. However, if there is a genuine desire to clean up VCS, those making accusations need to present solid evidence to Riot, rather than just stopping at creating livestream content like they currently are.
