Knight Speaks Positively About BLG After Heavy Loss to AL at MSI 2025
Recently, BLG faced a defeat against AL at MSI 2025, marking their third consecutive BO5 loss to this domestic rival. In fact, this was the most disappointing loss for BLG against AL, officially ending Knight and his teammates’ journey in Vancouver. However, in the post-match interview, Knight expressed very positive remarks about BLG’s performance.
Accordingly, BLG’s Mid Laner admitted that the team had an unsatisfactory MSI 2025 journey. However, Knight remains very optimistic: “I think our performance is evidenced by the results. And in fact, we won against lower-ranked teams. We only struggled against the top three teams, and this was not our best performance, and BLG has to improve a lot.”

Clearly, the BLG players were highly anticipated, given their superior international competition experience. In fact, if BLG could defeat AL and face T1 in the lower bracket finals, many LPL viewers would likely overlook two BO5 losses in the domestic league. But it all stops at the word “if.” BLG itself has not met expectations in the worst possible way. In the two matches against T1 and AL, they couldn’t secure a single win.

– Losing one BO5 might be an accident, losing two BO5s could be a slump, but losing three consecutive BO5s is due to sheer incompetence.
– They should look for a new Jungler, a new Support, a new Mid Laner, and a new Top Laner, while letting go of Elk.
However, the MSI 2025 journey could serve as a lesson for BLG and a moment for this team to prove their resilience, as the rest of the season still holds many goals to conquer.
