Recently, GAM Esports has concluded their journey at the 2023 World Championship (Worlds). This was something predicted before the match against Dplus KIA began. The LCK representative was simply too strong, and the GAM players themselves were not in optimal shape or form. Moreover, the performance in the match clearly showed: DK dominated and gave GAM no opportunity to turn the tide. They played true to the LCK style, and GAM could only give their best effort before accepting defeat.

But now that they are back, what will GAM do next is what many VCS viewers are wondering. In a recent development, two of the most important members of GAM currently, Coach Khôi “Rei” Trần and Kati, have hinted at changes that have caught the attention of the Vietnamese LoL audience. Accordingly, Coach Rei stated that his time with GAM has come to an end, and as he shared, it seems that this coach may also leave Vietnam. Coach Rei joined GAM at the start of VCS Spring and has experienced a year with the team filled with ups and downs.

Next is Kati – the Mid Laner of GAM. In his post, Kati hinted at a potential split with the phrase “after this Worlds, I will no longer compete together or something like that.” These revelations from Kati and Coach Rei have led many viewers to believe that GAM is preparing for a major “overhaul.” Previously, there had been many whispers about Levi being older or Kati having already achieved all the titles and experiences that a star in the VCS could dream of.

Additionally, GAM currently needs a new generation of players and a stable coaching staff. Therefore, it can be believed that after the resting phase and as VCS enters the transfer period, there will be a lot of changes. GAM will certainly undergo some alterations, and the VCS audience is eagerly anticipating which names may come and go around the reigning VCS champion.
