One of the Most Difficult Technology Augments Appears in TFT Set 15
With just over a month to go, the TFT community is gearing up for the new season, Set 15, featuring new adjustments and updates, along with mechanisms that will debut in Riot’s most beloved game mode. One of the most discussed changes is related to the Technology Augments — a mechanism that has significantly influenced the outcome of matches since its introduction. From this, players have discovered one of the most challenging Diamond-level augments in the new season – Nine Lives.

This augment’s mechanism will reduce a player’s health to 9, and from that point, they will receive items after each loss, while still only losing 1 health point instead of losing health over time as per the original mechanism. However, even if they win, players will maintain 9 health instead of increasing or decreasing. Many view this augment as a true challenge, only suitable for “masters”.
According to some players who have had the chance to experience it, the rewards for health milestones when losing do not match players’ expectations and the sacrifices required by the augment. However, some also argue that it is still in the testing phase and when Set 15 officially launches, Riot will make more appropriate adjustments.

Additionally, this Technology Augment may require players to concentrate throughout the match to calculate their moves wisely. It can be said that Nine Lives could be an interesting augment, but only if the players have high skills and Riot adjusts the rewards appropriately. Currently, the only benefit of this augment is providing some items and allowing players to always pick first during the Draft phase.

TFT Set 15 Promises to Be Extremely Exciting
Alongside Nine Lives and other new Technology Augments, TFT Set 15 will also introduce mechanisms for power upgrades during matches for champions. This game requires not only luck but also extremely high skills from players to effectively climb the ranks.
