Only One T1 Player Avoids “Storm” After Crushing Defeat to AL

This is the only T1 player who received a "temporary pardon" from criticism after T1's disappointing performance against AL.

The Entire T1 Roster Is Criticized, Except for One Name

Going into the match against AL, not many fans believed that AL could win, let alone achieve a dominant result. However, the surprise of EWC 2025 unfolded as AL not only won but also completely “destroyed” the representative from LCK. The same players who defeated AL at MSI 2025 appeared utterly weak in this match. Both games followed the same pattern: T1 lost control early on, and AL simply crushed their opponents.

T1 suffered a completely overwhelming defeat at EWC with a score of 0-2 against AL.

Of course, the defeat is shared by the entire team, including all 5 players and coaching staff. But in T1’s performance, only player Gumayusi is still regarded as having shown effort, especially in game 2 where his Corki tried very hard. In contrast, the other 4 T1 players performed below expectations. Even Faker made mistakes, while Oner, Doran, and Keria can only be summed up in two words: “disappointment”.

– Doran is reminiscent of the early season again.

– Oner and Doran are the main reasons for this defeat.

– Watching Jhin and Corki shoot in despair makes me want to despair too.

– Did Faker really dive in to catch a Xin Zhao still equipped with Crescent Blade?

Gumayusi is perhaps the only T1 player who truly showed effort.

T1 Ends First Half of 2025 Season at an Average Level

Ignoring the LCK Cup, this team has “self-destructed” with personnel drama, and T1 only really shone since the Road to MSI began and then MSI 2025. Moving into EWC, T1 remained average, and in fact, their recent loss to MKOI likely highlights issues with the players’ form rather than them “making content”.

The first half of 2025 for T1 has passed at an average level.

T1 still has one more day of competition at EWC 2025 before returning to the second phase of the Regular Seasons and then the World Championship. But with their current fluctuating form, no one can predict what the rest of T1’s journey this year will look like.
