Since receiving adjustments from Riot, many champions have become very strong and performed well, creating new metas at the World Championship (Worlds 2023). Notably, one champion that has performed exceptionally well at Worlds 2023 is Yone. This champion, known for his mobility and impressive damage, made a comeback and is even more formidable thanks to Zeus using him during last year’s Worlds. Yone played a significant role in T1’s victory at T1 at Worlds 2023. In fact, he was close to getting a Worlds skin if Zeus hadn’t chosen Jayce instead.

Recently, many players have pointed out that Yone is truly the most perfect champion in League of Legends at the moment, if not the number one. His Q3 has a wide range and long skill range, ensuring he can hit both long-range champions and squishy Support champions. His W allows Yone to always create a Shield whether he is hitting minions or enemy champions. His E can make Yone extremely mobile, diving into fights while still being able to retreat without losing resources. Meanwhile, his ultimate can provide an additional Blink spell with a distance of up to 1000 and the ability to deal massive damage.

Notably, not only in League of Legends, but even in TFT Season 10, Yone shows his “dominance” compared to a 2-cost champion. Yone currently possesses 3 Traits: Heartsteel, Divine, and Raging. These Traits accidentally provide everything that a damage-dealing champion needs: attack speed, healing ability, damage, and health boost, creating a shield. With the right items (Bloodthirster, Infinity Edge/Hand of Justice, and Blue Bow/Giant Slayer), Yone can easily take down all opponents in the blink of an eye.

It can be said that currently, Yone is the most favored champion in both TFT and Summoner’s Rift. However, the explosive power at the end of the 2023 season may not be a good sign. Because surely, any champion that proves to be too dominant will face adjustments from Riot before the new season officially begins.
