Over a year ago, streamer TF Blade angered the Vietnamese League of Legends community with his extremely toxic remarks towards SofM. At that time, he continuously attacked SofM simply because he believed the Vietnamese player did not help him in a ranked match. When SofM challenged him to a 1v1, TF Blade was left speechless and “backed out” after realizing he was not on par with a professional player.

One would think that this embarrassing “backing out” would teach TF Blade a lesson, but he remains “the same old him”. Even when participating in a casual tournament among streamers, TF Blade displayed excessive toxicity on stream. This has understandably angered the League of Legends community.

Specifically, streamer Dantes recently organized a tournament named after him, gathering 12 colleagues from the League of Legends content creation community. TF Blade was among them, and like other teams, his team included players at the Master and Diamond ranks. As a result, TF Blade’s team was eliminated in the Quarterfinals after losing to team Tobias Fate, a well-known “one champion” Gangplank player.

What’s concerning is that during the tournament, TF Blade continuously attacked and threw toxic remarks at his team’s Jungler. The reason was similar to his previous issues with SofM, as TF Blade believed the Jungler was not helping him in the Top Lane and during team fights. This excessive toxicity from TF Blade left viewers of this fun tournament outraged.

– Dantes’ tournament is the most convincing evidence against introducing open voice chat into League of Legends
– I think Riot needs to permanently ban TF Blade from the League of Legends community; his toxicity is genuinely concerning.
– TF Blade is a testament to the need for Riot to ban toxic players.
– More importantly, it shows how the leniency towards toxic streamers can lead to serious consequences.

In recent years, Riot Games has made significant efforts to reduce toxicity and negative attitudes while playing League of Legends. However, when streamers with similar attitudes to TF Blade continue to be supported and have large followings, those efforts become futile. Perhaps it’s time for Riot to impose stricter penalties on streamers with such poor behavior to effectively reduce toxicity in League of Legends.
