One of the most anticipated aspects of each Worlds Championship is the lineup of skins honoring the champions that will be released the following year. In recent years, the quality of Worlds skins has noticeably improved, raising fans’ expectations even higher, especially in 2023, where the champions are T1, led by the legendary Faker. Given the appeal of Faker and his teammates, it wouldn’t be surprising if T1’s Worlds skins become one of the focal points of community attention next year.

Previously, as we know, there has been much speculation about which champions T1 would choose to receive skins for Worlds 2023. Specifically, Jayce (Zeus), Lee Sin (Oner), Ahri (Faker), and Jinx – Bard were expected to belong to T1’s bot lane duo. However, in the end, these were just rumors and preliminary information from the T1 players. There hasn’t been any official information regarding Faker and his teammates’ choices, especially since Keria has been quite hesitant as he is unable to secure the Lux Worlds skin he desires.

Recently, during his stream, Faker hinted at a “change of heart.” Specifically, the T1 mid-laner stated: “Honestly, I decided not to choose Ahri for the skin. Really. I think Ahri already has too many skins. I mentioned it before. Instead, I will choose Orianna. I think Orianna will be better.”
Not only Faker, but also his junior Keria has yet to finalize which champion will receive the Worlds skin. On the morning of December 22 (Vietnam time), Keria was still conducting a final survey before making a decision, between two champions: Renata and Bard. In a recent development, Keria has “finalized” his choice with Renata Glasc.

For the T1 stars, the profit from the skins will be significant, but what matters more is the champion they truly prefer. This is because this will be the most special line of Worlds skins. It has been over six years since SKT T1/T1 last claimed victory at the tournament. So many ups and downs have occurred, leading to the championship in a season where even the T1 players had little confidence in winning. And it is precisely because of this miraculous journey that the Worlds skins become even more meaningful.

Perhaps Faker was just joking about his choices, or Keria had already made a decision before conducting the survey. But clearly, more than ever, fans are eagerly awaiting the final decisions of the T1 stars regarding their commemorative Worlds skins.
