In recent days, T1 fans have been deeply worried about Faker’s health condition. The “Demon King” revealed that he suffered from food poisoning severe enough to require hospitalization on December 29. The likely cause was oyster poisoning, which led to intense pain. Fortunately, Faker received timely treatment and was back to health shortly after.

Coincidentally, on the same day, a mid lane star from the LPL faced a similar issue. That player is Knight, who was confirmed by his BLG manager to have suffered from food poisoning. By December 31, Knight had partially recovered enough to compete and helped BLG defeat RNG with a score of 3-1 at this year’s Demacia Cup.

Although Knight was able to compete again, his condition remains quite weak. According to BLG’s manager, Knight showed signs of fever after the match and was so weak that he could barely stand. Therefore, he had to skip the post-match interview to return to BLG’s headquarters to recover.
The cause of Knight’s food poisoning likely stemmed from a hot pot meal shared by the BLG team before the Demacia Cup. Perhaps this was meant to strengthen the bonds among BLG members before the tournament, but unfortunately, it led to problems for Knight.

Knight’s joining BLG is seen as one of the most notable contracts in the recent transfer season in the LPL. This player is expected to help BLG secure the LPL championship and improve their performance in international tournaments. However, Knight’s health issues before the new season has led many fans to doubt that BLG will have a slow start in the LPL Spring 2024.

Hopefully, both Knight and Faker will achieve the best health status when the new League of Legends season begins. It would be a pity if these outstanding players’ performance was affected or did not meet expectations due to health issues.
