At LCK Spring 2024, T1 is showcasing an almost absolute dominance, and the latest “victim” is KT Rolster in the return match of the first round between the two teams. Even against a significant opponent like KT, the T1 players did not hesitate to continue their “experiment” with the duo Smolder – Alistar. In fact, T1 displayed an even greater destruction than in game 1, as from the early stages of the match, KT continuously fell behind in all 4 positions, except for the Top Lane. The soaring performance of T1 since their loss to Gen.G can largely be attributed to the players, especially Keria‘s position.

However, the continuous “testing champions” in such a unique style has caused Keria many issues. The situation peaked after their loss to Nongshim RedForce in T1’s recent final group stage match. This game recorded a clear overconfidence from T1 players as they used Twisted Fate for the Bot Lane – a Mage that is not particularly strong and has little impact in the current meta.

According to reports from T1 fans, Keria has frequently mentioned negative thoughts on his stream recently, even repeatedly hinting at ending his life. Of course, he probably just feels exhausted. But Keria himself expressed: “I just hope that evaluations come from professionals, and fans will support us. Whenever others talk about something, it’s normal, but when I mention it, I get criticized. Some new fans will judge me based on public opinion. And many have a bad impression of me. I can only try to prove them wrong.”

Clearly, T1’s experiments stem from all 5 members, and surely the players have trained together extensively. However, Keria (who has made the most champion choices) has become the one being criticized. With Keria’s revelations, no one knows what the consequences would be if T1 lost to NS.

Currently, T1 still shows they are on the right track. And if T1 can take the crown at this year’s LCK Spring, it will be the most powerful response from Keria to the criticisms and help the T1 Support overcome the pressure from a portion of extreme fans.
