Gumayusi Evaluates T1 Skin but Shocks Fans
In just a few days, according to schedule, the T1 Worlds skin line for 2024 will officially launch alongside the upcoming patch. This line of skins is arguably the most anticipated, not only for its value but also for its significance. The 2024 Worlds skin commemorates T1 as the second team in League of Legends history to successfully defend their championship title, while Faker also becomes the FMVP of the finals for the second time. Additionally, this might be the (likely) last skin that the ZOFGK lineup achieves together.

However, according to Gumayusi’s recent ranking, Faker’s Yone skin will be the best, followed by his own Varus skin. Zeus’s Gnar skin and Keria’s Pyke skin rank third and fourth respectively, while Oner’s Vi skin is rated as the worst. Besides the possibility that Gumayusi was just “teasing” Oner for stealing a penta kill a few days ago, fans are questioning: where is Faker’s Sylas skin?

The reason is, according to various sources, Faker will have two skins this Worlds. There have been some leaks suggesting that each of Faker’s skins may feature a different champion. This would be unprecedented, but if it’s to honor Faker, it all makes sense. However, Gumayusi’s assessment does not mention Faker’s Sylas skin, leading many viewers to question whether Faker can still be an exception to Riot’s Worlds skin concept.

T1’s Worlds Skin Could Achieve “Huge” Sales
Not only is this skin honoring the most popular team in the League of Legends community, this skin line marks the successful defense of the championship title by ZOFGK. Therefore, its significance will be even more special. In fact, if we consider it, ZOFGK is the first lineup to successfully defend the Worlds championship. Because SKT T1 in 2015 and SKT T1 in 2016 had a change in the Top Lane position with Duke replacing MaRin.

Moreover, since winning the championship, ZOFGK has disbanded, leading to surrounding drama. Thus, this skin line can be seen as a tribute to one of the strongest lineups in League of Legends history, yet disbanded in the most unexpected way.
