For a team like T1, it’s no surprise that they have one of the largest fanbases in the world of League of Legends. In fact, some players like Faker, Gumayusi, and Keria are particularly famous in the LPL – a region that has been a direct competitor to LCK since the representatives of these two regions have been fierce rivals for the MSI and Worlds championships. Naturally, with such a large fanbase, T1’s fangirls will also significantly outnumber those of other teams. Especially since, alongside their talent and proven qualities, the T1 stars are also quite handsome and charismatic.

With a large fanbase, of course, there will be all kinds of fans, and it’s almost certain that any fan community will have its share of extremely radical members. Notably, these individuals can influence regular fans and cause discomfort among outsiders. Perhaps many still remember the incident when Caster Hoàng Luân was “pressured” by a faction of T1’s radical fans a few years ago. The incident garnered significant attention, prompting the renowned VCS caster to continuously post updates to address the issue.

Recently, Caster Hoàng Luân faced trouble again with some T1 fans, leading to community debates. Specifically, some fans leaked a chat from what appeared to be a private chatbox for Caster Hoàng Luân’s fans. The content in the caster’s chat referred to who would replace Gumayusi in case the marksman experienced hand pain. However, when the incident was leaked by some fans, it angered many T1 supporters, who felt that the caster was bringing up unfortunate topics regarding the players.

According to many opinions, the context of the statement was during the caster’s chat in his private box with fans, meaning it was still a private matter. Leaking someone else’s private messages is already an impolite act. Moreover, Caster Hoàng Luân’s mention was merely a hypothetical scenario that could happen or might never occur. Therefore, associating the caster’s remarks with bad luck for T1 players and using harsh words against Hoàng Luân is utterly unreasonable.

Currently, Caster Hoàng Luân has not made any statements regarding the incident. However, the League of Legends community in Vietnam remains highly concerned and is leaving many mixed comments, asserting that such issues could affect regular fans and lead to more anti-fans for T1.
