It can be said that with any drama, the community of VCS will always have to face a number of rumors proportional to the “viral” (magnitude, coverage) of that drama. Of course, the current scandal in VCS is no exception. It can be said that the Vietnamese League of Legends community has never faced such a significant scandal that has had so much impact. And perhaps never before has the number of rumors surrounding players and teams flourished like this. Recently, another team and its players have been “named”.

Specifically, on the evening of March 23, rumors began to surface regarding the MGN Blue Esports team and its players. Previously, player Sorn from this team was rumored to be the first player in VCS to have “dirty hands”. Notably, both MBE and Sorn have maintained silence regarding this information. Recently, according to these rumors, there is still one more name within MBE who is said to have “dirty hands”, namely Ryuk. Additionally, another name has emerged under suspicion. Surprisingly, it is the once-famous mid-laner of Saigon Buffalo – Froggy.

In response to the information about Froggy being under suspicion, Coach Ren was understandably shocked. However, during a recent stream, the former coach of Saigon Buffalo and Froggy’s mentor stated: “Right now I am 50-50. If Froggy were not with MBE, I could just call to ask right away. But asking like that is also difficult because Froggy would think of us as teacher and student, brothers, not trusting each other.” At the same time, Coach Ren also affirmed that if any of his former students (from the SGB team back then) were to become a “culprit” in this scandal, he would “hang that player’s picture on the stream channel and criticize them for a week”.

Of course, no one wants any player to be named as a “culprit” in this scandal. But if there is wrongdoing, there must be a “culprit”, and it could be players who are well-known to the VCS community. Therefore, every viewer needs to prepare for the worst-case scenario that could occur once Riot makes a decision. However, it is also necessary to remain vigilant to avoid unfounded rumors, as no one has confirmed anything that could affect the reputation and credibility of the team, players, and all those related to these mentioned names.
