Just a few minutes ago, the organizers of VCS officially announced the list of players involved in the biggest match-fixing drama in the region’s history. Accordingly, the names on this list will be required to temporarily suspend their competitive activities while further investigations are conducted. Unsurprisingly, many prominent names have been revealed, including the entire roster of Rainbow Warriors, Team Flash, and MGN Blue Esports…
However, fans are in shock as VCS confirms that two of Coach Ren’s star players are “tainted.” These are the legendary duo BeanJ and Froggy. Although the former head coach of Saigon Buffalo had publicly expressed confidence in his students during a livestream, the reality is completely the opposite.

For those who may not know, BeanJ and Froggy are two members of the illustrious Saigon Buffalo generation under Coach Ren at MSI 2022. Under his leadership, the Red Buffaloes fought fiercely on the international stage, reaching the top 6 overall with a roster full of young rookies at that time. Moreover, with a small stature and somewhat frail appearance for his age, BeanJ has always been seen as the youngest and received the most attention from team members, especially Coach Ren.
Upon hearing the bad news, Coach Ren likely couldn’t accept it and shared his disappointment on his personal page. At this point, any excuses made seem meaningless, and now, even the former coach can no longer vouch for his students’ innocence. It is known that just a few minutes after the VCS announcement, player BeanJ also confirmed the incident and stated he had terminated his contract with Team Whales.

Clearly, not only Coach Ren but all fans find these players the most unexpected. Currently, all information is still at the investigation level, and there has yet to be a specific confirmation regarding the violations. Therefore, many gamers still choose to trust in the innocence of this duo.
On the other hand, Coach Ren has not made any further reactions to the bad news regarding his star student. Perhaps, he too will need to regain his composure and confirm the facts before officially “going on air.”
