After suffering a shocking 0-3 defeat against HLE in the winners’ bracket, T1 recently restored faith among fans with a dominating performance against DK. Specifically, Faker and his teammates defeated DK convincingly with a score of 3-0. Moreover, the T1 team demonstrated complete superiority over DK in both skill execution and team fighting coordination.

With such overwhelming matches, the winning team usually receives a very high score. However, what’s surprising is that Keria received an astonishingly low score of 6.6 from LPL fans, while the other T1 members were rated very highly. This “unreasonable” score from LPL fans sparked outrage among supporters when it was announced.

In fairness, Keria was not the standout player in T1’s victory against DK. However, this player still made important contributions to help his team advance and keep their chances of competing for the LCK championship alive. Even in the final moments of game 3, Keria’s precise ultimate ability initiated key fights for T1. Therefore, rating this player with a performance score of only 6.6 is indeed unfair.

It should be noted that even from the group stage, Keria had received much criticism from LPL fans. Right after T1’s defeat against Gen.G, Keria was criticized by a blogger in that region for his choice of “unusual” support champions. This likely contributed to Keria’s support play leaving a negative impression on LPL fans. Therefore, no matter how significant his contributions were, he was still rated low by LPL fans.

Essentially, the unjust score mentioned earlier does not significantly impact T1 or Keria. What matters now is that this team has somewhat rekindled hopes of winning the LCK or at least securing a spot at MSI 2024 after their victory against DK. As long as Keria and the T1 team continue to win, that will be the strongest rebuttal to the unfair evaluations aimed at them.
