In early June, one of the events that the League of Legends community is particularly interested in is the official launch of the Hall of Legends, with Faker being the first to step into the Hall of Legends. Alongside the controversial HoL skin collection regarding pricing, Riot and LCK are also organizing numerous offline events to honor the Mid Laner of T1. Famous characters in the LoL scene worldwide have been invited by Riot to send their wishes to Faker. Specifically in LCK, the T1 stars were invited to take a quiz to test their knowledge of Faker and himself.

Interestingly, it seems that when testing knowledge about oneself, one should score full marks. However, Faker only scored 90 out of 100. While this number is quite high, considering the two questions that Faker got wrong, the audience was astonished as they were extremely basic. Specifically, one question asked, “In which month did Faker officially debut in LCK?” and another asked, “Who is the teammate that has played the longest with Faker?”.

In fact, Faker debuted in April 2013, and this confusion comes from Faker himself and even many of his “hardcore fans.” This is because the competition registration list only updated Faker starting the season from March. However, it wasn’t until early April that he actually played. As for the other question, Faker chose Gumayusi while the correct answer should be Keria. Meanwhile, many viewers thought Bang or Bengi were actually the players who played with Faker the longest.

Regarding this aspect, in fact, according to statistics before the finals of the 2023 World Championship, the player who has played the most games with Faker is Bang, with 467 matches. Following him is Wolf with 412 matches. In fact, Bang played alongside Faker from October 2014 until the end of 2018 when he left. While Bengi did play with Faker since 2013, the number of matches back then was relatively few. Not to mention that after the 2016 World Championship, Bengi also left the team.

For his part, as of now, Keria has played alongside Faker in 461 matches, but according to some viewers, it was the omission of Bang from the answers that caused the mistake. Although it is known that about 1-2 weeks after the start of the LCK Summer 2024, Keria will surpass Bang. However, at this moment, Keria has not played with Faker as much as his predecessor.

Perhaps, even Faker himself cannot specifically remember the milestones in his career as he only prioritizes the final victory. However, this also shows how enduring Faker’s career is, as there are players even much younger than him who are preparing to become his longest-lasting teammates in the history of T1 and League of Legends.
