Zeus truly has no opportunity to compete for T1 in the future
As of now, scattered across various forums, there are still some comments from T1 fans about a scenario where, at the end of the season, when the contracts of players expire, there would be a “Zeus returning to T1” situation. However, in reality, this is very unlikely to happen, if not impossible, and perhaps T1 fans are still “infatuated” with the ZOFGK roster and should end this prospect soon.
Looking back at the past, throughout the history of SKT T1/T1, there has never been a player who left and was later re-signed, even if it was the legendary captain MaRin or the duo Bang – Wolf. Therefore, the possibility of T1 re-signing Zeus is nearly impossible because circumstances have changed, and no one knows for sure if Zeus would be the same if he returned to T1.
Moreover, Zeus is the first player to leave T1 amidst so much drama that T1 erased all traces of him in their hall of fame. It’s important to note that before Zeus, Canna also had a loud farewell. However, that incident was contained within about a month of the transfer season and ended when Canna officially left. T1 also did not “harshly” criticize or feud with Canna as much as they did with Zeus.
Thus, the chance of Zeus returning to T1 is nearly zero in any future scenario. This has no precedent, and perhaps Zeus is not an exception to T1.
Respect for Zeus – HLE, T1, and especially Doran
Additionally, T1 fans and Zeus fans alike should remember that the ZOFGK lineup needs to respect HLE and Doran. One side is Zeus’s current team, and the other is continuously striving and shining to bring victories to T1.
Since the beginning of the season, Doran has faced countless doubts and even criticisms for his performances in the LCK Cup and then in LCK 2025 Rounds 1-2. Some even suggested that Doran is T1’s “failed signing.” In the end, Doran is proving the complete opposite and deserves respect. Currently, Doran is the only Top Laner for T1, not anyone else.
Ending the debates surrounding Zeus’s return to T1 is not only about respecting Zeus’s decision and HLE’s contract but also about respecting Doran after everything he has overcome to shine in the present moment for T1’s victories.
