Oner’s Insights on the T1 – HLE Match
After the victory against KT Rolster, T1 faces some of the strongest teams in the LCK right now, and with Gen.G choosing Dplus KIA, Hanwha Life Esports will be the opponent for Faker and his teammates. In fact, out of the three opponents, T1 has not found a win against Gen.G for a long time. As for HLE, although they are a star-studded team and have defeated T1 in both group stage matches, nothing is guaranteed for HLE in the playoffs. Especially since HLE’s players have been quite inconsistent in their performance. Therefore, the chance for T1 to win remains quite clear.

In a recent interview, Oner shared his thoughts regarding the upcoming opponent HLE. The T1 jungler expressed optimism when discussing a strong opponent despite having lost twice to HLE: “In reality, we had opportunities to win in both previous matches (home and away). However, we made mistakes and lost in games that we should have won. If we can fix these issues and seize opportunities like we did today, I think we have a chance to win, even with a score of 3-0.”

T1 Can Achieve Victory
In reality, the score proposed by Oner could be considered somewhat… “unrealistic”. This is because HLE is currently not a weak team; if anything, they are the second strongest in the LCK, only after Gen.G. Additionally, if T1 wants to win against HLE, they really need to be precise right from the banning phase and absolutely avoid mistakes. Major teams like Gen.G and HLE always know how to punish even the smallest errors of their opponents. T1 themselves often leverage their opponents’ mistakes to finish matches.

Therefore, the score that Oner shared may also be the wish of many T1 fans, but achieving it will require the best possible performance from Faker and his teammates. However, with their rising form, a victory is entirely within T1’s reach if they truly play with peak performance and focus.
