The T1 – HLE match could be “in the hands” of Oner and Kanavi
These days, the League of Legends community is fully focused on the final series of the Road to MSI 2026 from the LCK and LPL regions — the biggest names in professional LoL. In fact, the LCK still draws more attention, especially the “Super Classic” T1 – HLE match. Many believe Oner and Kanavi could be the two most important players in this game.

The reason is, in the current meta, the Jungle role is not only about “farming” and taking resources but also ensuring coordination across all lanes. It can be said that Oner and Kanavi are doing this very well. Most importantly: both teams are playing with their main Junglers. In fact, HLE even somewhat “caters” their playstyle to Kanavi compared to the interaction between T1 and Oner.

Regarding Oner, he remains reliable, especially on champions like Xin Zhao or Nocturne. Even when playing Lee Sin — a champion with a limited power spike — Oner makes the “Blind Monk” extremely threatening. Not only does he roam and gank across the map, but Oner also creates very high-impact plays. This is T1’s sharpest weapon.
In the group stage encounters between the two teams, whenever T1 or HLE wins, it marks an outstanding performance from either Oner or Kanavi. Therefore, it’s not an exaggeration to say the better performing jungler will lead their team to victory.

But T1 and HLE Must Also Be Cautious
Both teams have two of the best professional LoL junglers currently, but they share one trait: they have high playmaking potential but also tend to make costly mistakes. Therefore, both T1 and HLE need contingency plans in case their key jungler goes off track.
