Skewmond had a chance to match Oner’s extraordinary performance

Currently, the Jungle role is becoming increasingly important and can even decide the outcome of matches. However, this also means the pressure on Junglers is heavier than ever. Given the scarcity of young, talented Junglers worldwide, Skewmond has emerged as one of the brightest stars. In fact, according to some players, Skewmond has the potential to reach levels worthy of winning international tournaments. Recently, he even nearly matched the extraordinary achievements of Oner.

Oner achieved 37 kills.

Specifically, in the match against DK during last year’s LCK Playoffs losers bracket, Oner recorded a total of 37 kills over 4 games. As for Skewmond, he totaled 36 kills in the series against KC. Similarly to his senior, Skewmond was also voted the MVP of the match.

However, one factor that put Skewmond behind Oner was not only the kill count but also the number of games played: Skewmond needed 5 games to reach that milestone, whereas Oner did it in just 4 games. This means T1’s Jungler averaged about 9 kills per game.

Fans eagerly anticipate a showdown between Skewmond and Oner

With G2 securing their spot at MSI 2026, the community is eager for Oner to participate in the second biggest international event in League of Legends, which will be hosted on home soil. However, T1’s main opponent is HLE, posing a significant challenge for the reigning World Champion to reach MSI this time.
