The LCK Road to MSI 2026 lower bracket match delivered fans one of the most intense and emotional BO5 series in LCK history. Pushed to the brink, KT pulled off a miracle comeback against DK, who had at least two chances to close out the series.

Game 1: Smash dominates all
The first game saw complete control from DK. The blue team focused all resources on their ADC Smash playing Ashe. The rapid power spike of DK’s bot lane duo rendered KT’s top lane efforts futile. The game ended swiftly with a crushing victory for DK.

Game 2: DK’s composure and macro play
In game 2, Lucid and ShowMaker continuously pressured midlane, forcing KT’s BDD to die repeatedly early. Although KT showed impressive counterplay by targeting Siwoo and proactively handling Baron, the gold and resource gap was too large. DK’s textbook macro secured a 2-0 lead after 34 minutes.

Game 3: Pentakill for Aiming
With nothing to lose, KT put all their winning hopes on their bot lane duo Yunara – Lulu in game 3. This time, Aiming lived up to expectations with a blazing performance. In the decisive late-game teamfight, KT’s ADC swept through the enemy team to secure a spectacular Pentakill, cutting the deficit to 1-2.

Game 4: Classic 10k gold comeback by KT
Game 4 was arguably DK’s biggest tragedy as they controlled the game entirely, leading by over 10k gold and holding the Infernal Drake Soul. However, Sivir in Aiming’s hands played an exceptional defensive game with over 500 CS. The turning point at the Elder Dragon pit allowed KT to wipe DK and even the series 2-2, much to the audience’s astonishment.

Game 5: KT completes the comeback
The deciding game repeated the pattern with DK taking an early lead and securing the Ocean Drake Soul. However, a failed flank attempt by Siwoo’s Jax cost DK dearly. In the ensuing chaotic teamfight, Cuzz managed to steal the Elder Dragon, paving the way for a decisive KT sweep.

With a nail-biting 3-2 victory, KT officially advances to face Gen.G, while DK must exit the tournament with regret.
